Schoolmaster Dexter Big Paces

2008 Dexter. Previously competed at Medium, trained in XC and SJ. Never sick or sorry, passes a yearly vetting for the riding school, bold well-mannered affectionate 16.2h horse.

He is very willing at his lateral, big paces, bold jumping and very reliable and brave out hacking on the busiest of roads. He would also make a fantastic schoolmaster for any rider wanting to learn the more advanced movements and compete. This handsome gelding has scored mid 60s at Medium with more to come. Happy and established with his work, He also has been used to lead other riders out hacking in my riding school and enjoys being ridden as part of a group or individually, looking after his riders well. He takes a mistake from the rider without getting offended and is ready to go on and teach someone all the tricks. Does not like very nervous riders who grip with their knees, and so I want him to go to a good knowledgeable home. Very clever horse who is a pleasure to do with lovely manners, he loves going out for training and competitions, happily stands on the trailer and is good in warm ups etc. No known health issues and is stable vice free. Very genuine and difficult sale of a loved family member who has been a massive part of our family for the past 10 years. Price is a guide price as home is absolutely the highest priority for us. He has a nearly new dressage saddle that fits him really well so would like to sell that on too. Reason for selling, he is my mother’s horse and recently on holiday she has had an accident.
