Bred in Ireland by Citai SPA, the bay stallion is the son of the outstanding racehorse and sire High Chapparal (IRE) . Rosier is out of two times winner Regina Aldi (IRE) by Dowsing (USA). Regina Aldi is herself the dam of 8 winners including Rosier. Her dam Palumbo was a 3 times winner and dam of 3 winners. Trained by L-D Raccoon, Rosier ran in Italy. A winner of 5 races, he placed 17 times. His wins included Premio, Clubino, Milan, Trofeo Clemente Papi, Florence, Trofeo Stefano Meli, Pisa, Premio Roberto Renzoni, Pisa and Premio Envo, Pisa. An impressive result for such a long legged, scopey, racehorse like Rosier. After arriving to stud, he was introduced to jumping and coloured poles and he adapted with ease after a strong career as a racehorse. When ridden he showed a good canter, rideability, coolness and honesty in character. This filly’s dam, the elegant Dancing Starla is progeny of the world renowned 5star International showjumper Hold Up Premier. He is a son of the world famous sires, Narcos II x Quidam de Revel x Monceaux (xx). He made use of his genetic potential competing in the Grand Prix CSI 5* level. From 4 to 7 years old, he placed each year in the finals of the Stallion competitions and in the Dutch Championship. At 5 and 7 years he jumped into the finals 9f the world Championships . He jumped with much elasticity and spring in his technique.
