If you’re looking for a lot of Welsh sass in a small package then look no further. 14hh (approx, she is very dainty could definitely get away with being a 138cm) 5yo Welsh mare. She’s an old head on young shoulders in the sense that she’s definitely been here before as a Thelwell pony in a past life, doesn’t spook or glance at ANYTHING and also knows all the tricks in the book????
Ruby is a little sweetie to do, no pulling faces or nastiness on the ground. She has 3 lovely paces and knows she’s the prettiest one on the yard. She’s forward and has perfected her flicky toes but she’s not at all sharp or strong. She travelled from Devon on Tuesday from her owners, to come here on sales livery, who’ve had her since a 2yo and settled in right away, getting ridden today in the blowing wind with no fuss at all.
She has sass and spirit! Don’t ask me if she’d be suitable for your windy nervous kid who’s terrified of life because she’ll have them for breakfast. She’s by no means unsafe she is the perfect sort to toughen a child up without putting them at risk. We took a video of her on her first day here schooling, jumping, seeing her first ever XC fences, and going for a little hack seeing a car and tractor.
She’s been to the beach, ridden bareback and been based in a riding school environment so not fussed by children running round or a busy atmosphere. She’d be ideal for a riding school’s competent children or a proper pony club home! Loves her hacking out and is good with traffic.
Comes with her full wardrobe and tack, home is the no.1 priority she is sadly outgrown by young daughter. Same home last 3yrs very sad goodbye of a much loved little sass pot.
