Fancy, honest little Welsh D mare

Fancy is a stunning mare with a very honest heart. She is a sweet, kind, trusting little mare who has so much untapped potential. In the right hands, she could truly be the horse of a lifetime.

Bought as a rising 2 year old, Fancy has known a life of love and trust which is reflected in her willingness to do her best. The pure trust she has in her rider is remarkable and not to be taken for granted.

She was professionally broken to ride at 4 years of age and has since been used as a family happy hacker, mostly hacking alone. She is forward and brave out on the roads, unfazed by traffic.

Fancy has so much potential, but due to work and commitments, she has not been given the time needed to become the super star she could be. Whilst she is a superb out hacking, she will require a patient rider to fine tune her paces in the school and bring her on.

Fancy has been jumped for the first time this year, and in typical Fancy fashion, she didn’t blink an eye when asked to jump. She is ready and willing to progress but just needs a willing rider to show her the way.

Whilst she is green for her age, her kind and trusting nature makes her a safe and reliable pony under saddle. Fancy has never known harm or a need to fear people which is apparent in her trust. Every time she has been asked to do something new, or pass something most would deem ‘spooky’, she listens to her rider moves on. I have never known such a trusting horse.

Fancy is safe to hack, shoe and box. She is also a tough native, living out for most of the year.

The decision to sell Fancy has not been easy but I simply do not have the time to untap her potential, which is what she deserves. As such, a 5* home is essential, and a short trial period can be considered.
