Charlie is the most loveable, gentle gelding, with excellent manners and is handled by children on a daily basis. He will make an experienced child, or lightweight teen an amazing 2nd pony, he’s fun, has a great little trot on him and is a cracking jumper.

He really his a special blue eyed boy ????

He’s advertised as a 2nd only because when ridden in the school with my daughter he does have a tendency to nap to the exit. However with a more experienced rider he can easily be ridden through this.

He is great on the lead rein, he takes confidence from the leader and will happily follow you around in the school/ field. He’s even done a bit of Liberty with me. He loves trying new things, and isn't the spooky type. He can be tacked up by small children, loves a cuddle, can be groomed all day long, easy to bath he’s just such a people’s pony.

Charlie happily lives in or out - he has always been turned out with at least one other horse and is quite vocal when left out alone so will need to be in a pair or herd when in the field. He can be a little dominant with other horses when food is around but only ears back nothing nasty.

Selling Charlie has been a very difficult decision as we and the yard love him dearly. Although as hard as it is, we are unable to provide him fully what he needs. My daughter has come on with him but she is a young novice rider. He has an abundance of potential so I feel ridden he would be better suited to a slightly older or more experienced rider that could do a lot more with him as he absolutely loves to have fun. Or equally a little child who wants a pony to lead around, groom and spoil with love.

I am only looking for a 5* home for Charlie where he will get lots of affection, love and attention. A home where we would be able to stay in contact and have updates on how he’s getting on.
