13.1 fell pony gelding

Tentatively looking for a new home for Midnight.

13.1hh rising 9 year old fell pony.

Needs a small experienced adult to bring out the best in him not suitable for a child.

He rides well in the school , always been worked in a nice outline, can be left for weeks and still the same every time, hacks out alone or in company (but not been off the yard for a while)

Never done anything naughty, just needs a confident rider, he hasnt been on main roads just seen light traffic, sees farm machinery as we live on a farm.

He was an orphan foal so he has a special bond with me so I will be particular who he goes to, looking for a very nice permanent home for him.

He has had different riders of different levels ride him and behaved good for each of them.

He has had front shoes on in the past for hacking but currently barefoot.

Been clipped in the past and behaved well.

Only for sale as I have five ponies and had a baby so he’s just getting fat in the field and not in work.

He enjoys to be ridden so it’s a shame for him to not be used..

Needs regular turnout in winter as he can become quite strong in hand. (Hence why not suitable for a child)

Although he’s a pure fell he’s not registered with the fell society.

Would consider loan for him but to stay on our yard (in littleborough).
