The Royal Ascot from Alexanders is a compact, side loading, rear facing horsebox with day living and a one piece Luton canopy which has been specially moulded to provided maximum storage and aerodynamics, to increase the fuel economy and decrease the running costs. We are the only manufacturer to have the internal head height of the horse area of 8 foot to guarantee maximum head room for all horses. The body is fully insulated to provide the most comfortable travelling conditions for the horse. The Royal Ascot can be driven by any one aged 17 yrs and over with a standard car licence. The 2.5 CDTi engine producing 120bhp gives outstanding economy and confidence whilst driving when fully loaded. The ascot has a lightweight side assisted ramp, (easily operated by one person) the partition is padded and hinged and fully adjustable to accommodate for all sizes of horses and ponies. The horse area has 4ft EVA matting and solid walls throughout to safeguard impact from the horse if kicked, the steel bulkhead and floor has been upgraded and lined with high impact intrusion rubber. The breast bar has been manufactured to extreme precision with a solid bulkhead, which we have included an internal jockey door for easy access. The day living includes an over sized rear door which allows more space whilst carrying saddles and tack inside and out. We have enlarged the rear step for strength throughout the whole horse box and more confidence when entering the day living. We have included a full length wardrobe/tack locker and extra saddle locker and the seating has been fully upholstered to match the padded partition. Our new fully adjustable tie up rings have been placed on both sides of the box to provide a flexible method of tying your horse up and hay net. There are 2 four way fully adjustable roof vents and 3 opening windows to provide maximum ventilation. The box has 2 precisely positioned lights which can be turned on and off from both the cab and living areas, to provide ultimate lighting on an evening for loading and unloading. The cab is a 3 seater; The Royal Ascot comes complete with power steering, CD player, remote central locking, lockable glove box and spacious door pockets, air conditioning can also be specified. The internal bulk head of the cab has been finished to an extremely high standard in leather with an opening and closing window to view the horse at any time whilst driving.
We have designed the box so it is fully pressure washed proof within internal drain holes, to provide a simple and hassle free method of cleaning after use.
