STANLEY Grange Regal Heights captured the TopSpec Supreme in Show at this year’s Ponies UK Summer Championships.
The yearling colt is produced by Jerome Harforth of Stanley Grange Stud and is owned by James Dow from Lanarkshire.
On this occasion the talented youngster was handled by Simon Charlesworth and gave a breath taking display to beat the ridden entries.
Already a big winner at the handful of shows he has attended, Regal Heights went overall In Hand Champion at the Northern Horse Show and was Champion Riding Pony Breeding at the Royal Highland.
Very well bred he is by Willowcroft Regal Bronze out of Stanley Grange Heavens Above, herself a big winner in the show ring.
Last year Heavens Above took the Supreme In Hand Championship at Ponies UK while Regal Heights was Supreme Foal at the same show.
Said Jerome: “The plan is to keep him as a stallion. He is impeccably bred and will mature to make 14.2hh. We imported his father from Australia and are delighted with the way he has turned out.”
The Supreme in Show Award brings forward the champions from the In Hand and Ridden classes held throughout the week and is the most prestigious championship of the show.
Nicola Tyler of TopSpec added: “I am pleased that the hard-working team at Stanley Grange have had their efforts rewarded with this stunning young colt. Since we launched the company showing exhibitors have been very loyal users of our products and we are happy to thank them by sponsoring showing. The Supreme in Show title at Ponies UK is very prestigious and wonderfully open because thousands of exhibitors have the opportunity to qualify.”
