| The heat is too much for Zara - 27 Sept 2007 |

As one of British eventing's brightest young stars, you would expect Zara Phillips to be excited about next year's Olympic Games in Beijing.
However, Zara, who is 11th in line to the throne, has hit out at the organisers of the games for picking Beijing - with its hot and humid conditions - as the venue for the 2008 event.
The 26-year-old told Daily Express: "Why do they pick these places? It's the same for the athletes as well. I mean why do they do it? "The hottest, most humid conditions I have competed in was Italy for the European Championships a few weeks ago.
"We don't get that heat or humidity in Europe."
Organisers of the 2008 Games chose to hold the horse-riding events in Hong Kong rather than Beijing itself, as air pollution is lower there and also because there is a smaller risk of animal diseases than on the Chinese mainland.
